the issue seems rather an openoffice one since that's the component
behaving weirdly there

First of all, I changed system language from german to english to
reproduce the problem. But the problem as descriped above does not
appear. I don't know why. So I'm not sure if you are able to reproduce
it in other languages. However, it is probably a problem in the german
language translation.
