Public bug reported:

If you use gnome-terminal in fullscreen-mode and you start a process
that needs to access your gnome-keyring gnome-keyring-ask pops up and
asks you for your password. Unfortunately you can't see this window
because gnome-terminal is in fullscreen-mode and the window is behind
your fullscreen terminal window. It also isn't possible to activate the
terminal window by clicking onto it. So the gnome-keyring-ask window has
the focus but the gnome-terminal is visible and can't get the focus. You
also can't switch to another virtual desktop with CTRL-ALT-[LEFT|RIGHT].
So this seems to be some kind of GUI deadlock.

I had to switch to the console and kill gnome-keyring-ask and repeat the
operation while gnome-terminal was not in fullscreen-mode. For me it was
a major annoyance but for some people this could even be a reason to
reboot their machine or kill the xsession and lose important data.
