Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets
I've added the charpick_applet to my panel and added a new character set (öä) from the preferences menu. After a few boots, the applet reverts to the first character set in the list (áàéíñó½©ث€) and switching to any other character set stops working. The applet is 'locked' to this character set. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Jun 9 00:09:28 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gnome-applets 2.27.2-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash LC_PAPER=a4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.30-8.9-generic SourcePackage: gnome-applets Uname: Linux 2.6.30-8-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- [charpick_applet2] Character Palette doesn't change displayed character set https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384954 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-applets in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
