Are new users allowed to confirm bugs?
This particular one has been bugging me for ages. There is no fix and the only
way to get around it is to install Gthumb.
It is something so basic to be missing. MASSIVE oversight.
I've seen this bug before I think, being sidelined like many bugs here
This issue is too complicated for a trivial fix, so it's not a paper
cut.

There is no way to say Eye of Gnome to sort the pictures in
couldn't this be fixed if Nautilus used DBUS. Then other applications
might know what is going on with the file passed in relation to its
surroundings
