Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
Since Jaunty, ubuntu uses a fade-in effect when you change the background. This nice effect kind of goes to waste though, since the user does not change the background very often. There IS a guaranteed background change every session, though: the one that happens between the login screen and the session. But that one guaranteed change is the one where there is no fade-in effect, and it's a shame because it would made a beautiful, seamless login. Would it be technically possible to have the effect there? ** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- fade-in effect between gdm background and user background https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/396648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
