he best solution for this would be for the setup program to
automatically set LC_TIME for the country you select you live in during
setup. At least i suspect that will make more people happy by default.
I want simply to be able to set the format to ISO 8601 ie. .mm.dd
hh:mm:ss in Ubuntu. Why

Take me (and probably the orginal reporter Mårten aswell) as an example:
We are Swedish people but we prefer the US english install, so we choose
english language during install.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu fo you use? Of what date do
you speak about? What locale do you use? That works fine for me with a
french locale when editing something on a calendar or a task by example
