OK, this is evil.
If start it like this:
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
--leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log /usr/bin/totem
file:///tmp/aruk-ar-ipv6-2.sdp
then it does not crash !?

This is reproducible simply.
I tried on another PC, another ISP, up-to-date Ubuntu 9.04, default options,
just IPv4 connectivity.

totem-dbg and then totem-gstreamer-dbgsym (they exclude each other).
