You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using 32-bit Ubuntu karmic (9.10).
After a recent update and reboot, the "Enable touchpad" setting in System>>Preferences>>Mouse has no effect. The touchpad works even if that setting is enabled. I would like the touchpad to be disabled. I'm currently working around this issue by unloading the "psmouse" kernel module. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "enable touchpad" setting has no effect in karmic https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/404638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
