Public bug reported:

I use gmail. I use gmail's web interface.

I don't use evolution for mail. I will _never_ use evolution for mail.
It's just not my thing.

So why exactly do I now have a envelope icon showing up in my indicator
applet that shows only an empty list when I click on it, which I can't
remove?

Expected result: my panel contains only icons and entries that I have
some measure of interest in.

Actual result: my panel contains irrelevant crap that I can't remove.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Summary changed:

- Indicator icon needs to not be displayed if I've never used evolution for
mail in my life.
+ Indicator icon needs to not be displayed if the user has no intention of ever
using evolution for mail
