Hi Pedro,
I do not currently have Ubuntu installed as I am busy job hunting and
investigating consultancy options. I needed to install Windows 7 to spend
time familiarization myself with Office 365.
If no one else has reported the problem then I suggest the bug be closed, I
can have another look
Thanks for the report Chris , It has been a long time without any
comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the
bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest
Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective
comments to the report?
Could you get a log with gnome-control-center-dbgsym libglib2.0-0-dbgsym
libgtk2.0-0-dbgsym installed?

the program needs to be replaced by gnome-about-me, there's no
arguments for it, so just replace that option and remove the arguments
