Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
When producing an image with brasero, two files (brasero.toc and brasero.toc.bin) are created. brasero.toc contains absolute filenames. When you move the files to another location and try to burn them, brasero fails (I use a german localization, the error message is "brasero.toc kann nicht gefunden werden.", which would translate as "brasero.toc cannot be found). Expected behaviour would have been that brasero is able to use the files even if I move them to another directory, or at least a warning that the files can only be used from the place where they are created. fr...@ubuntu:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 fr...@ubuntu:~$ apt-cache policy brasero brasero: Installiert: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Kandidat: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Versions-Tabelle: *** 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 ftp://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.26.0-0ubuntu3 0 500 ftp://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de jaunty/main Packages fr...@ubuntu:~$ ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brasero produces .toc files containing absolute paths when https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424888 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
