Greetings, I have Rhythmbox 0.12.6 (that is actually a great release) and notify-osd 0.9.24-ubuntu1 installed but I can not see ANY cover on the notification area. All covers are instead visible in Rhythmbox. What am I doing wrong? Thanks -- Notification: no display of no-square covers

This issue actually was a bug in notify-osd (see https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/notify-osd/+bug/443979). It has been fixed in notify-osd 0.9.23. I also wrote a remark (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=594522#c3) in the upstream bug at GNOME's bugzilla to close it there. ** Changed in:

I'm no expert, but after using Rhythmbox for 1 year, I've tried Banshee on Jaunty for more than one month and stopped having this problem altogether. So, I doubt it has anything to do with the notify-osd. Now I'm back to using good old RB once again, but I miss Banshee's neat behaviour on this
