Gnometris crashes when closing preferences if Theme
As no one has confirmed this again in the last half year, and this does not
reproduce anymore on Precise either, I am setting this to Fix released. If you
experience this behavior though, feel free to reopen this bug.

FWIW; I reproducibly get this crash both with and without compiz running
(i.e. with system::preferences::appearence::visual effects set to
either none or normal). However, if you run quadrapassel with the
--sync parameter, the crash happens more reliably due to suppressed X11
buffering.

This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow
I have discovered that this Gnometris crash only happens when Metacity's
compositing effects are enabled. After disabling Metacity's compositing
effects, Gnometris works as expected and does not crash as described
previously. Enabling Metacity's compositing effects causes Gnometris to
start
