This has effected me and it is reproducible in the current machine setup I have
ie. there is no accessible HDD memory. So the keyring information is not kept
and I can reproduce the error upon reopening Empathy after start up under
LIVECD. Reported as bug in translations Empathy error (setup)
this bug was fixed in empathy 2.29.91 Thanks for the bug report

to reproduce start ubuntu from a live session/for the first time after
install I guess open empathy and try to make a new account after giving
all information a keyring window comes up wait for 15-20 secs and the
error comes that's too wide

This bug is fixed in empathy 2.29.5 I got the same error but it was not
too wide(normal sized) but I did not save the image of the screen as I
though I marked it invalid.

Nope, I can't reproduce it on my current setup (9.10).
I guess it is a first-time-only bug. I tried removing my accounts from
emptathy and adding them again but there was no error.
