That bug is still open, why is this bug closed as invalid? Also, it is not true that the idea has always been rejected. It was arbitrarily rejected, for no good reason, once in 2005, by the project's maintainer. Nevertheless, that bug is open and valid. Let’s say we are waiting for GNOME’s
