Thanks for the provided info.
I hereby confirm this bug since I'm able to reproduce it now. It is possible to
"Empty Trash", but "Delete from Trash" doesn't work, see description below.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a plain text file on the desktop, c
I'm using dapper 2.6.15-23-386
This only happens when the link is broken. Meaning you must trash first the
file test.txt.
Permissions:
lrwxrwxrwx link to teste.txt
-rw--- teste.txt
On terminal i just use rm to delete the file!

I'm not able to reproduce this using dapper 20060520.
Does this also happen when you trash the link first or is it important you move
the file test.txt to the trash first?
What are the file permissions of the file test.txt and the link? Look in a
terminal with the command ls -l.
What appropriate

The previous bug report was not that detailed on how to reproduce it,
sorry! Because i am able to reproduce the bug i will now explain how it
happens.
Create a plain text file on the desktop;
Call im "test.txt" (without quotes);
Write whatever you like on it;
Right click on desktop;
Choose "Make L
