Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When I close Rhythmbox 0.12.5 (Ubuntu 9.10 beta) via its menus (Music ->
Quit), it closes and terminates. However, when I use the close box in
the Rhythmbox window, it simulates Music -> Close, i.e. the process does
not terminate, and the notification icon stays active. In prior Ubuntu
versions, the close box resulted in a true quit. Most other
applications work the same way, i.e. selecting the close box terminates
the application.
