I don't known exactly what packages cause this, sorry. Distribution:
ubuntu dapper with lastest packages.

Gnome refuse to start. GDM works ok and permit login in but gnome
doesn't show the splash screen even...

Gnome start with failsafe from Gdm, but if I try for example epiphany
browser it's says that can't connect to the dbus session. Firefox
doesn't start either but with no error message.

The only "solution" it's to comment in /etc/X11/Xsession.options the line:
use-ssh-agent. With that dbus works and Gnome start but epiphany says another 
error and firefox doesn't work either....


Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'gnome-
session2'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
