Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

Description of the problem:
I found a core indicating that there was a problem thumbnailing a PNG still
images .mov video file.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Put
ulimit -c unlimited
export GNOME_DISABLE_CRASH_DIALOG=1
into your ~/.gnomerc
2. Login into GNOME.
3. Download http://www.shynola.com/movies/j_s/moveyourfeet.mov
4. In nautilus browse to the folder it was downloaded to and wait for nautilus
to attempt to thumbnail it.
5. Check home directory for core fie.
6. If no core was produced and thumbnail turned into film canister go to
~/.thumbnails/fail/gnome-thumbnail-factory/ and delete the failed png. If there
was no core and a picture of a smiling pineapple then go to
~/.thumbnails/normal/ and delete the succesful png.
7. Ctrl-R in nautilus and go to step 5.

Additional informtation:
It seems to help to have other things to thumbnail at the same time (e.g. other
files in the same directory that don't yet have thumbnails)
