Indeed, that is the most likely culprit here. This didn't crash in Jaunty because it wrapped the unsupported call with gdk_error_trap_push and gdk_error_trap_pop to catch the error. That doesn't happen anymore in the new version (and it uses a different, but still unsupported call) -- The
