I have the same problem. Give up Leandro, all Ubuntu is for free, you can not
expect it working like in windows

I installed the libmms0 package and it still does not work. The same error is

It worked after installing this:
GStreamer plugins for mms, wavpack, quicktime, musepack
from the Ubuntu Software Center. The thing is, in synaptic, when I type mms,
the libmms0 package
appears, and not this one. I also had already installed ubuntu-restriced-extra,
shouldn't these plugins

plugin handler suggests
the installation of the correct plugin. Is this really upstream? Of which
