I cannot reproduce it. No offence, but I have to ask: Did you try
clicking Next? When I select multiple images only one shows but
clicking next (top left toolbar) shows the next one. On the bottom right
I also get a 1/4, 2/4 status messages, depending on the image which I'm
viewing. Thanks.

Ahh, My appologise,
This seems to be a change of behaviour from previous versions opening
multiple windows.
No matter, it works.

Thanks for your bug. That's a feature, not a bug. Usually when you
select 15 images to open you don't want 15 windows to be opened but a
collection where you can switch between the 15 photos, that's what it is
doing
