Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
When sending an email to contact's second (or more) email address (as displayed in the drop down while entering the address), after pressing return or clicking with mouse it automatically defaults to the primary email address of the contact. It does so with all contacts and has only been an issue since 4/11/2009, even before updating with latest update (3rd of 4th of Nov). This bug means I cannot send emails to secondary emails of contacts any more. It seems specifically to happen with the second and so forth recipient that I enter, the first recipient seems to accept secondary and other email addresses. I'm using Karmic, and Evolution version is: 2.28.1-0ubuntu2 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Nov 4 10:40:07 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: evolution 2.28.1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Evolution Mail does not allow secondary email selection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/473910 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
