I maverick, seeking and visualization works properly, but if you turn
off visualizaiton while file is played and then, turn on, playback
freeze

I'm really sorry for the delay -- I completely forgot to give some
futher feedback.
* This bug still occurs in Lucid *. Please tell me if I can help. (I
cannot boot under the latest Maverick Meerkat beta though -- hangs at
loading time)

Hmm, cannot edit my initial post, but of course, what I meant was :
1) launch rhythmbox
2) play any tune
-- 3) move the time slider anywhere (seek) --
4) enable visualisation (in my case : goom, quality : big, mode : default - in
the main window)
