gnome-hal fails to handle encrypted HD partition correct
Basically the same problem here. When I connect any of my encrypted USB
disks or USB sticks, gnome-volume-manager prompts me for a password, but
when I enter it - it does not mount any devices.
The problem started when udev was updated and /dev/dm-x devices are no
longer created. Fix udev?

I'm using Feisty now, and things have changed:
- I can mount the partition using pmount ("pmount /dev/sda6"), and it
gets mapped to /media/disk, which makes sense.
Still, I have strange behaviour:
- just after mounting, I get a graphical message (from nautilus ?) saying that
only root can access
I forgot to say (in the good-news list) that now, it is possible to
umount the partition using the disk applet.
