If you're talking about mbox files, you have to use File - Import.
It's been proposed to have Evolution announce to the rest of the desktop that
it knows how to open importable file types (mbox, ical, csv, etc.)
'.eml' files cannot be imported. This type of files is not supported in
Evolution.
So why the status is changed to 'Invalid'?
