Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
Since one of the upgrades I am unable to use the toolbox of GIMP. But I still can use the menus (Colors, etc.). Just when I use something like the stichung tool or a brush tool nothing happens on the editing window. I also had deleted some .gimp* directories either before or after that effect (I forgot). But I expected GIMP to recreate them if they are not there yet.
