Binary package hint: gnome-games
After launching Gnometris application, none of the menu respond immediately.
The game also takes time to start and then the response is very slow.

This affects me too, also with quadrapassel. I'm using the NVIDIA
display driver version 173.14.22.

When I launch from terminal, I get these errors:

From looking at the attached XsessionErrors.txt, it seems that Gnometris
is using Clutter, and that something is going wrong with GLX
acceleration. Please attach the following to this bug report:
1) The output of lspci -vvnn
2) The output of glxinfo (note that you will need to install the

if you open System Monitor and take a look whether CPU / RAM usage is
very high - to see whether this affects the whole system and whether
it's onyl caused by gnomemetris
