OK so in short, when you connect to your LaCie hard disk, everything is
considered as read-only: you can read and copy from the disk
Alberto, can you please post the exact output of ls -ls as described
above?

OK so in short, when you connect to your LaCie hard disk, everything is
considered as read-only: you can read and copy from the disk but you
can't write or copy to it.

Is there any error message displayed when you try to connect to the
LaCie disk? If yes, can you post the message here, even if it is in
Italian, as it would help us identify the source of the problem.
Alternatively, you can post a screen shot too.
