Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This report actually appears to be 3 different/separate
issues I believe they have been reported already. I will address these
issues in the same order that you have reported them.
1. This appears to be a dupe of
the version i upgraded from was 9.10
