I can reproduce this behavior 100% of the time on my wife's lucid
laptop, but I can not reproduce it at all on my lucid laptop.

I noticed that too (Lucid / F-Spot 0.6.1.5). Pictures were exported, but
export progress window is empty - no progress bar and no Cancel/Close
buttons. I had to kill f-spot to close it.
