I installed Ubuntu 10.04 to virtualbox, and I managed to get something out from
gdb.
Notice, this bug does NOT apply to new Ubuntu default theme! So, I changed it
to clearlooks.
I'm not sure I done all correctly.
But here are what I got from gdb.

may you please do a 'thread appy all bt full' on gdb after getting the
hang there? thanks.

As I wrote, gdb hangs completely too, so I can't give any commands to it.
It didn't even react to 'quit'.
