Sorry (or not) to say, but I cannot reproduce the error anymore. I've done some cleanup with my panels (removed the Top one). The only applets I got rid of were Menu Bar (I use Main Menu instead - because it fits better) and Indicator Session Applet (when removed Main Menu gains additional buttons

I'm almost sure the bug is caused by - let's call it - NetworkManager icon inside Notification Area applet! When you get your icons distorted right-click on the affected panel click Properties. In Panel Properties change panel orientation to Left or Right and back to Top or Bottom. In my case all

Happens to me on 2 different Lucid machines, one with AMD HD4670, proprietary driver via jockey, one with Intel GMA4500. Usual behaviour is for a sound indicator icon to show where network manager normally lives, and time portion of the clock to repeat the half the date instead. The other day
