Nothing known to me in Ubutu has this mount path pattern, and no answer
for three months, thus I close this now.
I will reopen once more information arrives.

disk ends up mounted on /tmp/disks-conf-sda1
It is very unlikely that this happened due to hal. I suspect the
partition was picked up by a partitioning tool, disk-admin, or a similar
program. Do you know how and when the partition ended up as being
mounted there?
