I am running Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 64 bit, patched up to the latest
version. How do I determine the version of gstreamer and how do I
update it?

I start seeking ahead at around 8 seconds.
As you can see, the track plays normally, it's only when I'm seeking to
a new spot that it starts playing up.
