Hi Darran,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, there is little more that I can tell
you. In any case:
1) I was editing a LaTeX document.
2) gedit suddenly closed, taking with it my unsaved changes. The last line
on stderr was the error message in my report.
3) I expect it not to do that.
