This only started happening with gnome-power-manager 2.31.90-0ubuntu3 released today. The previous version didn't have this happen. The bug fix for [Bug 614039] Re: gnome-power-manager crashed with signal 5 in _XError() seems to have caused this possibly. gnome-power-manager stopped crashing but
