According to GNOMEs bugzilla totem supports MPRIS2.1 since 3.2. So this bug should be fixed in precise+1. Btw: wouldn't it be better to just control the volume of all other non-musicplayer apps like in they're by the applications-tab in the sound-settings. Maybe just move this feature to
