As noted in bug report #622344 (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/622344 ), a fix
for a bug that was crashing evince was implemented in evince package
2.31.90-0ubuntu2.
I had reproduced this bug several times prior to that package release.
It would happen every time I tried

I just reproduced the problem on my AMD64 machine running an up-to-date
10.10 with your PDF file. When I go to fill in the second box within
the PDF, it crashes with the same error message as you
GLib-ERROR **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.25.14/glib/gmem.c:140: failed to
allocate
Except I am using

Ok, I installed dbg packages to allow source resolution:
$ valgrind evince DrayTek_RMA.pdf

Pedro, indeed this does not reproduce on Maverick i386. Since it does
readily on Maverick amd64, it is clearly an active issue.
