Thanks for your bug. Do you run evolution from GNOME? How do you run it?
It's supposed to store all the passwords to the GNOME keyring and ask
for the keyring password once

Yup, it uses keyring, I use standard Edgy desktop (GNOME and Evolution
out-of-box).
I've checked saved passwords with keyring manager.. basicalli here's what I do:
1. run evolution, read my imap inbox, close evolution
2. in keyring manager I have entry for imap://hostname
3. run evolution, send
