In my case helps the workaround by adding command listed bellow in the startup scripts just after pulse audio boot: amixer -c 0 -- sset Side playback 100% unmute The command unmute the Side channel -- lenovo g460 [HDA-Intel - HDA Intel] mute softkey incorrect status
