When you have many windows opened Windows List on taskbar is completely
useless. All you see are small buttons with 3 dots on them, no icon, no
windows title.

This behavior should be changed. Perhaps ensure that the minimum size is
enough for the icon to be shown and add small "<" and ">" to the left
and right of the many buttons. Or up-down arrows on the right side of
the many buttons, similar to what windows xp taskbar does in this
situation.

I do not have grouping enabled since I do not like that feature. If you
enable it, it's somewhat better, but the unwanted behaviour is again
apparent when you have many _different_ programs opened.

Also three dots are again useless, even with the icon visible.
