Need Version Update for
Ubuntu just pushed 2.30.3 as an upgrade. Why can't we get the Maverick
version? The one without a privacy/security hole? Lucid is supposed to
be an LTS release. I don't think the idea is to force users of an LTS
release to use defective software longer than everyone else.

thank you for your bug report but if you want to use GNOME 2.32 you
should upgrade to maverick, stable version only get selected bugfix
updates

Thanks Sebastien, but I don't particularly want to use Gnome 2.32. I
would simply like a version of empathy without the huge privacy/security
hole in it. Auto-logging every chat, combined with the fact that the
logs are in a hidden folder, seems like a bug to me. It probably seemed
like a bug
