OK I have it. It is a bug related to KDE. I created a new user and I
logged in. Bug disappears. Even delating my .kde directory all returns
to function. I don't know where bug is exactly located but surely in
.kde directory. Bug is therefore not related to Evolution but to KDE
settings. Hope someon
I would reopen this bug if possible submitting the errors from the console
during evolution start up.
I use evolution 2.12.1 under kubuntu 7.10 in which my KDE default settings
indicate firefox as browser. I followed the guideline 'Open link in new window'
as behavior setting (this in firefox o
It solves the problem in my case. It seems that the configuration has
been lost during the last update.

Hi. Thanks for your bug report.

- Open System->Preferences->Preferred Applications
- Select (in Web Browser section):
- 'Firefox' as your browser
- 'Open link in new window' as behavior
Click on any link in evolution (or any gnome application).
