Public bug reported: When I click the panel icon in edgy it produces the error "Could not launch application" "Failed to execute child process evolution-2.0 (No such file or directory)"
When I right click the icon and choose properties, I see the command is 'evolution-2.0' however when I open a command prompt and type evolution\t the options are evolution, evolution-2.8, evolution-2.2, evolution-addressbook-export I did a fresh install of Edgy and then copied my home directory to the new install. While its possible this came from the old installation, I doubt it - all of my panel preferences were lost when I logged into edgy, so I had to re-customize my desktop. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Clicking panel icon for evolution produces error https://launchpad.net/bugs/70106 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
