I've set the preferences to now show a menubar. I open a gnome-terminal
and the menubar is shown. I select view-menubar twice to make the
menubar go away. As soon as I open a new gnome-terminal, the menubar is
back in the new gnome-terminal and suddenly appears in all other gnome-
terminals. Even
