You should have a drop-down box under the Status label. The status
changes might be restricted to the bugsquad members, you should be able
to close a bug you have opened though. If that doesn't for you maybe
open a bug on launchpad

There definitely aren't links or menus there now, and I don't think
there ever
It turned out to be a bug in my code after all, which I couldn't find at
first with valgrind (it generates so many false alarms I can never find
the real bugs among them), but it turned up with MALLOC_CHECK_ and some
experimentation.
Sorry for the bogus report. I can't seem to find a way to close
you can close a task by clicking on the corresponding line of the table
on top of the page. Marking the bug as rejected, that was not a GTK bug

Do you mean where it says Status? There's no link there for me.
Perhaps only developers can close a bug, not reporters.
