The error messages are usually displayed when somebody anticipated the
error, if it's crashing that's probably not the case. Could you set
/apps/bug-buddy/run_on_crash to false which gconf edit and let apport
collect the crash and then attach the crash file to the bug?

I had to reinstall and i now use dapper. Edgy is too unstable for me at this
time. I don't have much time to spend hunting bugs right now.

The command prints some errors and then hangs indefinetly.
After cancelling with ctrl-c, nautilus crashes just as well as before.
I'd really like to produce a proper bactrace for you guys. I'm starting to
believe that my system is messed up some how, but I've reinstalled all of
nautilus's

won't run here.

I rebuilt nautilus with debug enabled, but gdb just exits when nautilus
crashes, so i can't collect a backtrace.

the dbg file are not binaries and can't be runned, they are debug
