Double click on a JPG image on the desktop = opens Eye of GNOME 2.32.1 Click on edit image = opens shotwell. Crop image in shotwell and close it. Eye of GNOME says the image has been changed and asks to reload it (this works well). The thumbnail on the desktop however does not get updated (and
