[Bug 76866] Re: No way to get working video with Intel card AIGLX desktop

2007-01-03 Thread David Schleef
This is still a bug in the X driver, because it advertises that it handles XV, but actually doesn't, thereby confusing any media player attempting to use it by default. -- No way to get working video with Intel card AIGLX desktop https://launchpad.net/bugs/76866 -- desktop-bugs mailing list

Unfortunately, the screenshot only shows a blue video... it is like that, except the video is still showing in parts (exactly in the position it would be if I wouldn't rotate the cube). This is a shot of totem-xine actually, but it happens in both totem-xine and totem-gstreamer. I'm adding a link

VLC shows the issue as well, but can be configured to use XVideo for output, which makes it work as shown in the screenshot. ** Attachment added: Issue (not) in VLC http://librarian.launchpad.net/5514535/Screenshot-1.png -- No way to get working video with Intel card AIGLX desktop

Rejecting this because it can be fixed in both xine totem-xine using video.driver:xshm in ~/.xine/config or ~/.gnome2/totem_config. ** Changed in: xine-lib (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed = Rejected -- No way to get working video with Intel card AIGLX desktop
